About
Working together, without the work of managing it
Pinok is simple, intentional team task management for small teams of 2–20 people, on iPhone, Android and the web. Every task has one owner and a clear next step; the next step can be handed to a teammate with a note, and it comes back. We believe managing work should not become work itself: the tool should adapt to how people already work together, not the other way round.
Why we are building Pinok
Millions of people use big project management platforms. They are powerful, and for everyday work they are often too much: overloaded screens, configuration, layers of navigation, and a weekly ritual of keeping the tool up to date. For a team of five, that overhead can outweigh what the tool gives back.
Linear showed that craft, speed and clarity can win a crowded market for engineering teams. We want to bring the same care to every other kind of small team: studios, agencies, startups, operations. Our mission is to make working together feel as effortless as the best personal productivity apps.
What we believe
-
Simplicity over features
Creating a task is typing a sentence. Starting a project is a name. Advanced things appear when they become relevant, not before.
-
Design is part of the product
Typography, spacing, motion and haptics are deliberate. It should feel like a premium personal app, not business software.
-
Speed is a feature
Every change happens on your phone first. Completing a task is one tap; nothing on that tap waits for the network.
-
Collaboration by default
A personal task and a team task work the same way. Teamwork shows up as context — faces, a project, a note — never as extra screens.
-
Native on every platform
Liquid Glass on iPhone, Material on Android, and a real desktop layout in the browser. The phone comes first; the desk is never an afterthought.
